How long have you worked here? Since December 3rd, 2001.
Where did you grow up? On a farm below Mt Egmont near Tariki in Taranaki, New Zealand.
Do you have something you’re an “expert” at? I was a very keen snow skier for many years. I learnt to ski in New Zealand when I was 11 but I also got plenty of practice in Norway where I lived for 9 years. I lived in a town called Lillehammer, where for 6 months of the year we would have about a meter of snow outside the door. The last time I skied was during the Winter Olympics which took place in Lillehammer in 1994.

What life event has had the greatest impact on you? Having children has been a turning point in my life. I used to live to travel and now I’m really content just being a Daddy to my 2 boys, Jackson and Oliver.
When was the best year of your life so far? I’ve had so many good years in my life so it would be hard to choose just one. I feel fortunate to have lived in 3 wonderful countries; NZ, Norway and Australia and I have fantastic memories from each one. Priorities change as the years go by and these days my greatest joys are time spent with my wife and children. Every year that passes where we’re all healthy and happy is really all that matters to me now.
