He's certainly a long way from hometown Swindon in the UK, and by all accounts he's very settled in the "lucky country", but that doesn't stop Brian from jetting off overseas as often as he can.

How long have you worked here? Since October 2008.

Which part of the job do you enjoy most? No day is ever the same and obviously I get to work with some great people.

What temptation are you powerless to resist? Any food that is bad for you - if it’s unhealthy then I am bound to love it.

How do you like to spend your spare time? Relaxing at home with friends, a good meal and plenty of wine.

What drives you crazy? Bad drivers drive me mad and there seems to be plenty of them in Perth.

When was the best year of your life so far and what made it so good? 1997 - I got married, bought our first house, started my first job and graduated all in the space of one month - it was a little bit busy.

What is your most treasured possession?
My wife - couldn’t live without her (although sometimes I think I can’t live
with her!)

Which of your five senses would you
least want to lose? Taste...I love my food.
